The Herringbone Tweed Polo Coat

The Polo coat is named for its popularity among English polo players, who would warm up in the garment between matches. Our version maintains iconic details such as the double-breasted silhouette and belted back, while elevating it with expert Italian crafting. Its herringbone wool tweed was custom-woven by Ireland’s Magee 1866 mill, which has been a Ralph Lauren partner for more than 50 years.

- Size 40R has a 117.5 cm front body length, a 117 cm back body length and a 49 cm shoulder.
- Peak lapels. Buttonhole each lapel. Double-breasted silhouette Genuine horn buttons.
- Long sleeves with gauntlet cuffs.
- Left chest flap pocket. Two front waist flap pockets. Two interior chest pockets.
- Buttoned belt detail on the back waist.
- Single vent. Fully lined.
- Shell and undercollar: 100% wool. Body lining: 51% cotton, 49% viscose. Sleeve lining: 55% polyester, 45% viscose. Dry clean. Made in Italy.
